The most beautiful boat trip starts in Wolf
Experiencing the marvellous Moselle and the steep vineyards from a boat is a great experience. You can enjoy this perfectly from Wolf. Just two hundred metres from my guesthouse, you board at the Kolb company, which will take you to Bernkastel in an hour and a half and, of course, back again after you have spent a few leisurely hours in picturesque Bernkastel-Kues. A day on the Moselle by boat is the ultimate pleasure.

Boat trip - A boat trip is just the thing for these people
A Moselle cruise on one of the tourist boats is suitable for tourists who enjoy marvelling at the Moselle valley and want to see the vineyards with their group of friends. However, a Moselle cruise is also ideal for seeing the individual vineyards and deepening your knowledge of these different vineyards. With a little research, you can find out exactly where the Wolfergoldgrube begins and ends or where the famous Kröver Nacktarsch vineyard, the Kirchlay vineyard or the Paradis vineyard in Kröv are located. You will also pass the Erdener Treppchen or the Ürziger Würzgarten on the way to Bernkastel-Kues. You can also see the difference between terraced vineyards (transverse terraces) in Wolf on the outside of the Moselle bend and the otherwise typical steep slopes on the Moselle. As temperatures on the Moselle rise over the years, more and more vineyards in the valley are becoming interesting, and so you can see that vineyards at the head of the valley (the highest edge of the valley) are increasingly being taken over by nature again.
Options for a boat trip on the Moselle
Nature, vineyards and forests are ideal for hiking or cycling tours. This can be combined with a hike over the Calmont in Wolf on the Moselle to Bernkastel-Kues or Brauneberg. After a hike through the countryside, it is tempting to have lunch in the wine village and then return by Moselle boat. The boat trips on the Moselle make it possible to combine hikes or cycle tours.
